Applications of Hash Collisions. 

Abstract: As shown by the recent work of Xiaoyun Wang and co-authors,
collisions for MD5 can easily be constructed, and SHA-1 is weaker than
we thought. Though these are not second pre-image attacks, some
applications are beginning to appear that make people think. One
example, to be highlighted in this talk, is the construction of two
different valid X.509 certificates with identical signatures.

Abstract: Blum-Blum-Shub (BBS) pseudorandom generator is a factoring
based pseudorandom generator. The talk is devoted to the concrete
security analysis of the generator.
