The ECRYPT European Network of Excellence is organizing a summer school
on cryptographic hardware, side-channel and fault attacks, in
Louvain-la-Neuve, on June 12th-15th, 2006.

This summer school focuses on all aspects of cryptographic hardware
systems, from implementation concerns to physical security, including
side-channel and fault attacks. The school only assumes basic knowledge
of electrical engineering and programming skills, but the reading of a
basic cryptographic textbook is a pre-requisite.

The 4-day long program aims to provide an insight into the cryptographic
hardware research with a number of open lectures from industrial
speakers. It will cover the following topics : recalls on technologies,
circuits and architectures (day 1), cryptographic hardware
implementation concerns (day 2), side-channel attacks (day 3) and
physical security (day 4).

The summer school will be followed by a workshop on "recent results on
side-channel resistant designs" and is limited to 100 attendees.
