Subject: [risc-list] RISC at Leiden (Fri Dec 21 ): Damgaard + Ishai + oratie
From: Ronald.Cramer at cwi.nl

Dear Colleagues,

I gladly announce a special RISC/Intercity Number Theory seminar on
*Friday December 21* at the Mathematical Institute, Leiden University, on
the occasion of my (admittedly, somewhat belated) oratie, i.e., the
traditional inaugural lecture.

It is a great pleasure to announce that Professors Ivan Damgaard (Aarhus)
and Yuval Ishai (Technion/UCLA) have agreed to lecture on this occasion in
our seminar, on the topic of Secure Computation.

You are cordially invited to attend both events.
Please note that these events take please at different locations
and that registration is required for the oratie. See below for details.

- -- The RISC/Intercity Number Theory seminar takes place in room 174 of the
Mathematical Institute, Leiden University.

- -- The oratie takes place in the Poortgebouw, Rijsburgerweg 10, Leiden.
See http://www.lumc.nl/algemeen/plattegrond.html

To attend the oratie, please register here and be present at least *10
minutes* in advance: http://www.oraties.leidenuniv.nl/

According to academic tradition, the oratie is in *Dutch* and it addresses
a general (not-necessarily-technical) audience. A cocktail party is
offered right after, at the same location.
